JOB SUMMARY

Responsible to Nutrition Services for nutritional service of patient, customers, employees, and community.⯠Responsible to the customer for courteous, accurate, timely service.

Salary Range: $15.30-$19.83

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in food services within in the last 5 years required
  • Experience or training in Nutrition Service preferred.
  • Experience with batch cooking, recipe development and recipe expansion preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND MAJOR DUTIESâ¯

  • Orders, prepares, seasons, cooks, assembles, and sets up main entrees, soups, vegetables, cereal, bakery pastries, sauces, gravies, etc. according to established standards.
  • Cleans equipment and maintains work area.
  • Organizes and reviews menu, summary, and catering sheets for all food items needed.
  • Prepares special functions and special events
  • Selects, measures, and mixes ingredients according to recipes.
  • Maintains supplies applicable to the area, stores and rotates items according to health standards
  • Accountable for quality and quantity of prepared items, properly portions and serves as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
